Equity in Education

Equity in education provides the opportunity for everyone to have a go and to succeed in their studies. All students have the right to access the University's services and facilities and to participate in all aspects of university life.

At the University of Tasmania we aim to achieve this by:

• helping remove barriers to entry and success faced by some students

• encouraging all students to feel like they belong here at university, and

• providing an environment that is safe and free from discrimination and harassment.
