The University of Tasmania is committed to a policy of equal opportunity in education. The Student Equity Unit:

• coordinates, monitors and reports on equity initiatives and projects

• develops and implements equity policies and the University's Equity Plan

• manages services dedicated to students with disabilities, and

• provides information and advice to staff and students on equity matters
