Activities and events will occur each day during Careers Week including employment preparation workshops and employer information sessions.

Visit CareerHub to book your attendance at any of the workshops or information sessions listed under 'Events' as some workshops/sessions will have limited attendance numbers.

A highlight of Careers Week will be the 2009 Careers Fair to be held in Hobart on Thursday 19 March. Representatives from local, national and multi-national employers will be available to discuss career opportunities within their organisations. All UTAS students and staff are welcome to attend.

A free bus service will be available from the Newnham campus to transport Launceston and Cradle Coast students and staff to and from the Fair.  Bookings are essential so reserve your seat by completing the online booking form now!

FREE CAREERS FAIR BUS

The Newnham Campus pick up location for the free Careers Fair bus will be at the turning circle bus stop outside the Arts building at the end of Newnham Drive at 9.00am for a 9.15am sharp departure.

On arrival at the Sandy Bay campus the bus will deploy passengers at Bus Stop 14 outside the TUU Building, where the Activities Centre is located.

After the Careers Fair, the bus will pick up at Bus Stop 14 at 3pm for a 3.15pm sharp departure for the return trip to the Newnham Campus.

There are still some seats available so please encourage a classmate to accompany you to the Careers Fair by booking online.
